A new MPM Momentum Stencil Printer arrives at DICA
DICA installed a brand new MPM Momentum Stencil Printer. This highly flexible stencil printer provides consistent , repeatable printing and incorporates solder paste inspection, auto support pin placement, and a snugging system which allows for better print quality.
DICA invests in a new Pick and Place machine to increase capacity.
DICA addded a brand new Juki FX-2 High Speed Chip Shooter to our ROHS line which is capable of placing 30,000 components per hour. It’s a dual gantry, 12 nozzle, state of the art pick and place.
DICA opens the doors to their newly expanded facility.

DICA has acquired a new Wash—the Galaxy Plus inline cleaner manufactured by Technical Devices Inc. This will improve the quality of our cleaning process, cut down the cycle time and increase cleaning capacity. The machine includes chemical isolation which will allow us better flexibility on solder paste choices.

DICA Electronics Ltd. has completed an almost $1,000,000 expansion to our facility and were awarded just over $130,000 by the Eastern Ontario Development Fund (EODF). On April 22nd, it was announced that DICA made the ’Top Ten Fastest Growing Companies‘ in Ottawa list for the second year in a row. Companies are ranked by percentage revenue growth between year one and year three of their most recent three-year period, and must have completed financial statements subject to a review engagement or formal audit. In year one, companies must have a minimum revenue of $100,000 and by year three, a minimum of $1,000,000. All companies must be cash-flow positive in all three years.
