DICA expands……AGAIN!!

DICA recently completed another expansion of it’s Carleton Place manufacturing facility.  Previous expansions of 2,000 and 6,000 square feet proved inadequate for DICA’s growing customer base.  To better serve Ottawa’s electronics manufacturing needs, DICA recently completed an 8,000 square foot expansion at our Carleton Place facility.  Plans for the new space included a new larger employee entrance and cafeteria, expanded test services, additional box-build manufacturing capacity and a larger shipping department.

DICA adds dedicated Prototype SMT line

DICA is excited to announce the acquisition and installation of a dedicated quick-turn prototype SMT line.  Consisting of state-of-the-art JUKI pick and place equipment as well as a dedicated Speedline MPM Momemtum stencil printer and a BTU Pyramax 100A reflow oven, this new prototoype capacity immediately allows DICA to offer quick-turn prototype delivery to new and existing customers.  This new line brings the total number of SMT lines at DICA to three, providing a competitive advantage over other Ottawa area contract manufacturers when it comes to flexibility and delivery.
